Bathroom work lives or dies on the tile and waterproofing underneath it, not the fixtures on top. We set proper slope to the drain, real waterproof membrane behind every wet wall, and movement joints where the tile field is large enough to need one, so grout lines don't open up two winters from now when the freeze thaw cycle sets in.
Most of our bathroom calls are a tired primary suite or a guest bath still running the original fixtures. We'll rework the layout for a walk-in shower or a larger vanity where the footprint allows it, and we're straightforward about which of your walls are load bearing before we ever price the job.
